Heerenveen Energypark

Powering 2,330 households with solar energy

Together with the initiator Zonel Energy Systems Obton GreenIPP developed a 7,285 MWp ground mounted Solarpark in the city of Heerenveen.

In the solar park, 16.600 solar panels are installed, which together provide 6.928 MWh of sustainable electricity annually. This will enable 2.330 households to be supplied with electricity. In this way, Heerenveen Energypark ensures that 4.450 tonnes of CO2 emissions are avoided every year.
