Portena Logistics

Powering logistics with clean energy

Producing green energy and drive down energy cost

The sustainability goal of Dutch logistics company Portena is to reduce its C02 emissions by 20% by 2020. Simultaneously, considerable capital investments are to be carried out over the same period for the expansion of their existing business.

Our financial engineering expertise, uniting equity, banks and government funds, allowed the company to do the necessary investments in their business and still comply with their sustainability goals. GreenIPP delivered a full service package with a solid, long term and flexible deal, including a rooftop maintenance contract. With a state-of-the-art 3,1 MW rooftop solar PV configuration of 8500+ panels, the company is now consuming the clean energy generated from their roofs.
